Katie Price and her husband Lee Andrews were seen engaging in a public display of affection during a horse-riding excursion in Dubai. The outing occurred amidst controversy surrounding the couple's recent purchase of a new puppy.

Price, 48, traveled to the UAE to be with Andrews, described as a self-professed businessman who has recently been released from jail for fraud. Reports suggest he is currently unable to travel to the UK to meet Price's family and friends due to a flight ban.

During their date in the desert, Price and Andrews were photographed kissing and sharing adoring glances while riding horses. Price wore a black ensemble for the ride, while Andrews wore a white t-shirt and a baseball cap.

This event follows criticism from the animal charity PETA after Price announced the purchase of a male pomsky puppy for approximately £2,000 in Dubai. The charity's Senior Vice President, Mimi Bekhechi, stated that Price had reached a 'new low' and reiterated calls for her to be banned from owning animals. Bekhechi expressed concern over the welfare of the new puppy, especially in the Dubai heat, and referenced past incidents where animals under Price's care have reportedly been lost, discarded, or died. PETA has previously offered Price £5,000 to stop acquiring pets, citing that "things have gone horribly wrong with many of the animals under her supervision."

The puppy purchase was documented in a video shared by Price on Sunday, showing her and Andrews signing the contract for the animal. Price referred to the puppy as their "little boy," despite the couple not having children.

This latest acquisition comes shortly after Price reported that two of her Sphynx cats, Eilleen and Doris, had gone missing from her home. She appealed for their return, stating they would not simply disappear from her private residence.

Andrews has faced accusations of being a conman from ex-partners and was recently held in Al-Awir prison in Dubai on fraud allegations, which he disputes, claiming he was apprehended at gunpoint and suspected of espionage. He recently posted a selfie with Price captioned, "Britain's bad boy Lee Andrews agrees to live TV lie detector test."

Previously, Andrews mentioned in a Cameo video that one of Price's cats had died, adding to a history of pet tragedies. According to Andrews, Price has eight Sphynx cats, five dogs, and five horses, while he has two horses in Dubai. He also noted Price's desire for another horse, jokingly remarking he might have to "sell a kidney" for it.

Price's history with pet ownership has drawn scrutiny, with reports detailing the deaths of five dogs, a horse, and a chameleon under her care, many reportedly in traffic accidents near her Sussex home. She acquired three Sphynx cats in October 2024, despite previous warnings from animal charities.
