Katie Holmes has publicly addressed her relationship with artist Jason Bard Yarmosky, sharing that they "just have similar taste." The actress, 47, and Yarmosky, 37, attended a Ferragamo pop-up event in Bridgehampton, New York, on Friday, both dressed in coordinating navy blue outfits.

Holmes wore a deep blue semi-sheer button-up shirt and a fringed champagne-toned skirt, accessorized with black mule heels and a bright orange purse. Yarmosky complemented her look in a crew neck sweater, tailored wide-leg pants, and black dress shoes.

During the event, Holmes and Yarmosky were observed "whispering and giggling," according to reports. This public appearance follows their attendance at the premiere of "The Invite" in East Hampton in early July, where they were seen holding hands.

An eyewitness told People that Yarmosky "was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing," adding that the couple "seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night."

A source told TMZ that Holmes first met Yarmosky at a Tribeca Festival dinner in New York City in June. Yarmosky, a native New Yorker, is an artist whose work explores "themes of aging, time, and memory." He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2010.
