Katie Holmes has publicly acknowledged her relationship with musician Jason Bard Yarmosky, sharing photos from his Instagram Story on Thursday. This marks a significant step in their romance, which became public knowledge about a month ago.
Holmes, 47, re-shared multiple posts from Yarmosky, 38, including a picture of herself in a yellow ensemble, another from an art gallery, and a sunset photograph. The actress and the artist were first linked romantically in June when they met at a Tribeca Festival dinner in New York City.
Rumors intensified last month when photos surfaced of the couple holding hands during a dinner date in Manhattan. An insider told Page Six at the time that Yarmosky has a "calming presence" and makes Holmes "feel safe and comfortable." The source added that Holmes "really admires what he does as an artist" and enjoys the "warmth and humor" in his work, which is often inspired by his grandparents.
Despite an age difference of nearly 10 years, sources close to Holmes have indicated it is not a factor in their relationship. "The fact that Jason is younger than Katie doesn’t bother her at all. She doesn’t mind the age difference, and it hasn’t been a factor in their relationship whatsoever," a source told Page Six.
While the couple is reportedly taking things slow, with one insider stating on July 16 that they were "intentionally taking it slow" and "haven’t been introduced to other’s families or done any of that yet," they are said to be enjoying their time together. "Things are still pretty new between Katie and Jason, and they’re intentionally taking it slow," a source told the outlet. "There haven’t been any major steps in the relationship yet, they’re still in the dating phase for now. They’re happy taking things as they come and seeing where it goes."
Holmes' last public romance was with musician Bobby Wooten III in 2022. Prior to that, she was linked to restaurateur Emilio Vitolo Jr. in 2020.
