Katie Holmes has publicly confirmed her relationship with artist Jason Bard Yarmosky, with whom she has an age-gap romance, by making their relationship Instagram official. The 47-year-old actress reposted several Instagram Stories shared by her 38-year-old boyfriend on Thursday, including a photograph he had taken of her during a recent outing.
In the shared images, Holmes appeared to be smiling while exploring a barn with Yarmosky. The couple seemed to be attending an art show, though specific details of the event were not disclosed by either Holmes or Yarmosky. For the occasion, Holmes wore a pale gold halter top and midi skirt, paired with metallic pointed-toe heels.
Yarmosky’s Instagram Stories also featured photos of colorful sculptures and a sunset view over a lake. He tagged Holmes in each post, which she subsequently re-shared to her own story.
The couple was first seen together approximately one month prior, holding hands at a screening of "The Invite" in East Hampton, New York. Two weeks later, Holmes made a public comment about their romance while attending a Ferragamo pop-up event in matching outfits, telling Elle magazine that they "just have similar taste."
Sources at the Ferragamo event described the pair as affectionate, noting they were observed whispering and giggling throughout the invite-only gathering. This public confirmation of their relationship follows Holmes' recent reunion with her "Dawson's Creek" co-star Joshua Jackson for the premiere of their new romantic comedy, "Happy Hours." During the premiere in June, both Holmes and Jackson, who briefly dated while filming "Dawson's Creek," spoke about their enduring connection.
"The time that we spent together when we were young is very precious to both of us," Jackson stated. "And [it] is like one of the core personal and professional relationships in my life."
Holmes also wrote and directed "Happy Hours," a film about a couple considering rekindling their relationship. She discussed her collaboration with Jackson on the project, expressing her respect for him and her desire to ensure their joint endeavor was done correctly. "We've often talked about doing something again, but we never knew what," Holmes said about approaching Jackson to star in the film. "So it was really about that and agreeing to go for it, I suppose. He said yes, and that made me feel very good."
