Actress Katie Holmes, 47, shared a warm tribute to her boyfriend, Joshua Bard Yarmosky, 39, in honor of his birthday on Tuesday. Holmes posted a photo to her Instagram account showing the couple holding microphones on stage, suggesting a karaoke outing.
Holmes also shared a photograph of Yarmosky's birthday cake. She captioned the post, "Happy Birthday to the best of the best…"
The couple, who made their relationship Instagram official last month, recently attended designer Michael Kors's 45th anniversary dinner in East Hampton, New York. Holmes and Yarmosky were photographed together at the event, which also included guests like Naomi Watts and Christie Brinkley.
Holmes spoke about their matching navy blue outfits at a Ferragamo pop-up event in Bridgehampton, New York, telling Elle magazine, "I think we just have similar taste." The pair reportedly met at a Tribeca Festival dinner in New York City in June.
Earlier in July, they attended the premiere of "The Invite" in East Hampton, where an eyewitness told People that they appeared to be "very easy together" and that Holmes "was laughing" throughout the evening.
Yarmosky, an artist, was born in 1987 and graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2010. His work explores themes of aging, time, and memory.
Holmes was previously in a relationship with musician Bobby Wooten III. She has a daughter, Suri, 20, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise. It has been reported that Suri has not yet been introduced to Yarmosky.
