Comedian Kathy Griffin, 65, was recently photographed in Los Angeles wearing a wide-brimmed sunhat to protect her face following her third facelift, a procedure that cost $218,000. The surgery was performed by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei.

Griffin has been open about her multiple cosmetic surgeries. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in October 2025, she described the facelift process as "painful," adding that she instructed the surgeon to "give me a good yank" to achieve a more youthful appearance. She also underwent liposuction on her thighs, with the extracted fat being injected into her face.

She has incorporated her "new face" into her comedy tour, titled "New Face, New Tour." Griffin is scheduled to perform next in Tacoma, Washington, on September 11.

Earlier this year, Griffin declared herself "uncanceled" nearly a decade after facing professional and personal repercussions for a controversial photo holding a prop severed head resembling former President Donald Trump. She expressed surprise at being "uncanceled" given the significant backlash at the time. Griffin also commented that, in light of subsequent controversies involving Trump, she feels her 2017 artistic statement was prescient.

On Monday, Griffin posted a photo on Instagram with fellow comedian Rosie O'Donnell, 64, offering her support as O'Donnell prepared to host Jimmy Kimmel Live. Griffin wished O'Donnell well in her hosting duties and recalled a previous comment about the show being a "special treat for Donald Trump."
