Katherine Ryan, a 43-year-old comedian, has stated her consideration of undergoing a fat transfer, a procedure she described as "the deadliest cosmetic surgery you can get." This comes after she previously spent £25,000 on a facelift and has been open about her history with cosmetic interventions, including Botox and two breast augmentations.

Ryan shared her thoughts on "The Romesh Ranganathan Show," explaining that the fat transfer procedure involves harvesting fat from one part of the body via liposuction and injecting it into another area. She acknowledged the procedure's potential for unnatural proportions if overdone but expressed interest in a mild application. "I might do that, but only mildly because it is the deadliest surgery you can get," she said, adding, "So, I might not do it because I might die, but worth it if I don't."

The comedian also mentioned plans to have her breast implants removed, attributing the decision to extensive breastfeeding. "I've been breastfeeding for six years and I just think they got so huge that it put me off big boobs maybe for life," she explained.

Previously, Ryan had planned a facelift with a surgeon known for operating on Kris Jenner. However, the price increased significantly after Jenner's procedure, escalating from an initial $174,000 to over $300,000. Ryan ultimately opted for a UK-based surgeon, paying between £22,000 and £23,000 for her facelift, which she deemed a fraction of the cost and found to be ethically managed. She noted that she informed her UK surgeon about the price gouging by a London-based practitioner who charged around £110,000 to £120,000 for a procedure that resulted in severe cellulitis for a patient.

Ryan underwent her facelift in the UK approximately two months after giving birth to her fourth child, Holland. She recounted that her husband, Bobby Kootstra, initially refused to speak to her when she left for the procedure, a reaction she attributed to men's general lack of understanding regarding the nuances of plastic surgery.
