Supermodel Kate Moss's wellness brand, Cosmoss, launched in 2022, has ceased operations with debts amounting to £2.9 million. According to a liquidator's second report, the company, which sold products such as 'sacred mist' fragrance for £72 and CBD oil for £98, is unlikely to repay a significant portion of its outstanding liabilities.
While an estimated £2.3 million was owed to Moss herself, as the largest creditor through her modeling agency, the remaining £600,000 is owed to various external creditors. These include numerous small firms that may now face financial repercussions. Among the creditors are King Charles's solicitors, Harbottle & Lewis, to whom Cosmoss owes £23,000.
Annel Ltd, a cosmetic consultancy and one of Cosmoss's creditors, confirmed the impact of the unpaid invoices on its business. The company's closure last year followed a period of struggle after its launch. Moss, who sold her London mansion in 2021, has previously commented on the insensitivity of discussing high earnings, stating she is paid "ridiculous amounts of money for doing ridiculous things."
