Kate Hudson Shares Throwback Photos from Hawaiian Getaway
The actress posted images of herself in a red bikini and a glamorous gown, while also reflecting on her ongoing wedding planning.

Kate Hudson has offered a glimpse into her recent Hawaiian vacation with a series of throwback photos shared on Instagram. The actress, 47, posted moments from the trip, which included attending a friend's wedding, with one notable image showing her in a bright red bandeau bikini on the beach alongside her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa.
Hudson captioned the carousel of images with "Mentally still here," suggesting a reluctance to leave the tropical setting. In the beach photo, she accessorized her bikini with dark sunglasses and a gold necklace, while Fujikawa wore patterned swim trunks and a baseball cap.
Another photo from the vacation featured Hudson lounging on the sand with a friend, both wearing sunglasses. The actress was in her red bikini, while her friend chose a black two-piece.
The vacation also included a more formal occasion, with Hudson sharing a photo from an outdoor reception where she was seen in a strapless, floor-length gown adorned with shimmering embellishments. She posed with a friend who wore a white dress trimmed with feathers, both holding drinks amidst elaborate floral decorations.
Hudson also shared a picture from aboard a private jet, where she was dressed in a flowing leopard-print dress and sunglasses.
Beyond the vacation snapshots, Hudson recently spoke about the challenges of planning her own wedding. Engaged to Fujikawa since September 2021, the couple has not yet set a wedding date. During an appearance on the podcast "Sibling Revelry," which she co-hosts with her brother Oliver Hudson, Kate mentioned that the size of their families has complicated the process. "Our family alone is like 50 people," she stated.
She also touched on the financial aspect of large weddings, humorously suggesting it's part of the reason for the delay. "That's part of why I don't want to get married," she said. "I'm like, 'It's too expensive. I just want like hors d’oeuvres.'"
Hudson and Fujikawa have been a couple since 2016 and welcomed their daughter, Rani Rose, in October 2018. Hudson is also mother to sons Ryder Robinson and Bingham Bellamy from previous relationships. Despite the wedding planning complexities, Hudson has previously described Fujikawa as a supportive partner and a "real teammate."
