Karoline Leavitt Joins Fox News as On-Air Contributor
The former White House press secretary will begin her role on November 1.
Karoline Leavitt, former White House press secretary, is joining Fox News as an on-air contributor, the network announced Monday. Her role is set to begin on November 1.
Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott stated that Leavitt's experience in the White House and on presidential campaign trails provides her with a distinct understanding of the current political landscape. Leavitt expressed her eagerness to share her perspective gained from her time as press secretary, aiming to bring the same energy and candor to Fox's viewers across its platforms.
At 29, Leavitt was the youngest person to serve as press secretary. President Donald Trump described her as one of his most trusted aides upon her departure at the end of August.
Leavitt is not the first White House press secretary to join Fox News; Kayleigh McEnany, who also served as press secretary, has been with the network since 2021.
In the past, President Trump appointed several Fox News personalities to significant roles within his administration, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
