Karoline Leavitt Joins Fox News as On-Air Contributor

Karoline Leavitt, the former White House press secretary, is joining Fox News Channel as an on-air contributor, FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott announced Monday. Leavitt's tenure as press secretary ran from January 2025 until August 2026, making her the youngest person to hold the position in President Donald Trump’s second administration.

Her first day with Fox News Media is scheduled for November 1. Leavitt will offer commentary across the network's programming.

"Karoline’s firsthand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gives her a distinct understanding of today’s political landscape," Scott stated. "We look forward to her providing our audience with authentic and sharp insight across all FOX News Media platforms."

Leavitt expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, saying, "I am grateful for the opportunity to continue appearing on Fox News Channel as an official member of the extraordinary team at FOX News Media. I look forward to bringing my unique perspective from my experience as White House press secretary, along with the same energy and candor that defined my tenure, to Fox’s millions of viewers across their many platforms."

Prior to her role as White House press secretary, Leavitt served as a spokesperson for MAGA Inc. and was part of President Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. She previously worked in the Trump administration as a presidential writer and assistant press secretary. Leavitt also ran as a Republican candidate for New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District in 2022 and was the communications director for then-House Republican Conference Chair Rep. Elise Stefanik.

Leavitt confirmed her departure from the White House in August, citing her decision to balance the demands of the press secretary role with her family life. She resides in New Hampshire with her husband and two children.

Leavitt graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2019 with a degree in politics and communication. She previously interned at Fox News during the 2016 presidential election.
