Karoline Leavitt, a former Trump White House press secretary, asserted on Sean Hannity’s “Hang Out” podcast that Donald Trump possesses a deep respect for women, even suggesting he might listen to them more than men.

Leavitt, speaking on Hannity’s podcast, indicated that her communication style at the podium, which included direct criticism of journalists, was emulative of Trump’s own approach. She described Trump as a "great boss" who was "very uplifting to the people who work for him, very complimentary and very fun," and claimed he made an effort to watch her press briefings.

She also highlighted Trump’s appointments of women to prominent positions during his presidency, citing Susie Wiles as White House chief of staff, Kellyanne Conway as senior counsel, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders as press secretary. "In fact, sometimes I think he might listen to women a little bit more than men and I think that he just has such respect," Leavitt stated.

These remarks drew immediate criticism from those who pointed to Trump's history of public comments about women, including the 2005 "Access Hollywood" tape and his past remarks directed at female journalists. Critics argued that Trump's actions and statements demonstrate a pattern of misogyny rather than respect.
