Karl Stefanovic Slams Anthony Albanese Over Petrol Prices and AI Policy

Karl Stefanovic has returned to his YouTube series after a three-week hiatus, launching sharp criticism at Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese regarding the nation's economic state and international policy focus. In a social media clip shared Wednesday, Stefanovic questioned the rising cost of petrol and what he described as the "diabolical" condition of Australia.

"G'day folks, I am back in the country, and God it is good to be home. I am ready to rumble! God, what is happening out there, it is just diabolical," Stefanovic stated upon his return.

He then directed pointed criticism at Prime Minister Albanese's efforts to establish international artificial intelligence (AI) frameworks. Stefanovic suggested this focus was misplaced, especially given the involvement of the United States and China in AI development. "Albo is overseas rattling on about some AI framework or guidelines for the world to take on, without the US and China, who are in a complete race of their own," he said. "It is complete and utter bulls**t."

Stefanovic emphasized the impact of rising petrol prices on Australians, suggesting that people are feeling "tired" and seeking tangible solutions. "What's the distraction? Look here, a petrol station without its prices! You know what that means? Diesel at three dollars a litre," he commented.

He urged his audience to take action, rallying them with the phrase "rumble in the jungle" and a call to "get the country back on track."

This return follows the release of a new episode of "The Karl Stefanovic Show" last week, where he interviewed billionaire Adrian Portelli. Portelli discussed his decision to relocate aspects of his life and business to Dubai, citing issues with Australian government policies. Stefanovic's fans expressed their support in the YouTube comments section, welcoming his return.

The media personality's comeback also occurs amidst a legal dispute with his podcast business partner, Keshnee Ibrahim. Ibrahim has initiated Supreme Court action seeking to prevent Stefanovic from removing her as a director of their joint venture, 123 Podcast Pty Ltd, and is requesting the court to order Stefanovic to buy out her stake in the company.
