Karl Stefanovic Returns to Podcast Amid Legal Dispute

Karl Stefanovic has returned to his YouTube podcast, The Karl Stefanovic Show, following a three-week absence. The podcast reappeared on Wednesday without any acknowledgment of the break.

Stefanovic's latest episode features an interview with billionaire Adrian Portelli, founder of LMCT+. During the 35-minute conversation, Portelli discussed business challenges in Australia and his decision to relocate aspects of his life and business to Dubai. Stefanovic did not address his hiatus during the segment.

Fans expressed their support for Stefanovic's return in the YouTube comments section. Many welcomed his comeback, with comments indicating a desire for the podcast's regular programming to resume. This return follows legal action initiated by Stefanovic's podcast business partner, Keshnee Ibrahim. Ibrahim filed an urgent Supreme Court application seeking to prevent Stefanovic from removing her as a director of their joint venture, 123 Podcast Pty Ltd, the company behind The Karl Stefanovic Show. The application also seeks to compel Stefanovic to buy out her 45 percent stake in the company at a fair market price.

The legal dispute marks an escalation in the breakdown of the partnership between Stefanovic and Ibrahim, who launched the podcast earlier this year. The company, registered in February, has Stefanovic and Ibrahim as equal 45 percent shareholders, with Anthony Bell, Stefanovic's accountant, holding the remaining 10 percent.

Sources indicate that negotiations regarding an independent valuation of the business, preceding a potential buyout, had stalled approximately a month prior to Ibrahim's legal filing. The strained relationship between Ibrahim and Stefanovic's wife, Jasmine, who are reportedly childhood friends, has reportedly fractured.
