New York Knicks player Karl-Anthony Towns married influencer Jordyn Woods in a lavish ceremony in Malibu, California, on Saturday. The event took place two months after Towns and his teammates secured the NBA Championship title.
Woods, 28, wore a white strapless gown with a full skirt and a long tulle veil, while Towns, 30, was in a black tuxedo. The couple, who announced their engagement on Christmas day last year, exchanged vows overlooking the ocean.
Among the guests were several of Towns' championship-winning teammates, including Finals MVP Jalen Brunson and his wife Ali, Josh Hart and his wife Shannon, OG Anunoby, Jose Alvarado, and Miles McBride. The ceremony was also attended by notable figures from the Knicks' celebrity row, such as actor Timothee Chalamet and his girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
Other celebrity attendees included Ben Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Michael B. Jordan, and Jada Pinkett Smith. Jenner and Woods, who were once close friends before a public falling out, have reportedly mended their relationship.
Guests reportedly received hoodies that read 'Married in 5,' a nod to the Knicks' first championship in 53 years, which they clinched by defeating the San Antonio Spurs in five games.
Towns and Woods, who have been dating since May 2020, met through mutual friends and purchased a home together in Los Angeles. They have spoken about their strong foundation of friendship supporting their romantic relationship. Woods previously stated on Instagram, 'I think it's kind of cool dating your best friend. We know each other. We know each other's hearts. We know each other on good days and bad days, and we've been through a lot of bad days together.'
