Kanye West, also known as Ye, and his former personal assistant Lauren Pisciotta have reached a settlement in a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by Pisciotta, according to court documents. The settlement was finalized on July 23, with a request for dismissal to be filed within 45 days of that date.
Pisciotta sued the Grammy winner in June 2024, alleging sexual harassment and wrongful termination. She began working with West in July 2021 as he prepared to launch his Yeezy fashion line. Court filings indicate Pisciotta was initially offered $1 million for the position, with the condition that she be available 24 hours a day. She also stated she was earning an additional $1 million from OnlyFans, but West allegedly asked her to delete her account in 2022, promising to raise her salary to $2 million annually. Pisciotta claimed this salary increase never materialized.
The lawsuit detailed allegations that West began sending vulgar text messages shortly after offering the raise. According to Pisciotta, West allegedly shared explicit descriptions of sexual acts he desired and sent intimate photos of current and former Yeezy employees. She also claimed West once locked them in a room and masturbated next to her before falling asleep, and became angry when she rejected his advances.
By September 2022, Pisciotta was promoted to chief of staff for several of West's companies with a reported salary of $4 million. However, she was fired one month later. Pisciotta was offered $3 million in severance, which she claimed she never received. Her lawsuit sought compensation for breach of contract and a hostile work environment.
In an amended complaint filed in October 2024, Pisciotta made further accusations, alleging that West drugged and sexually assaulted her during a studio session with Sean "Diddy" Combs.
West's legal team previously called Pisciotta's lawsuit "baseless" and accused her of blackmail and extortion. In a July 2024 statement, West's lawyers stated that Pisciotta "actively pursued him sexually to coerce employment and other material benefits, then engaged in blackmail and extortion when her advances were rejected." They also alleged "unhinged conduct" from Pisciotta, including offering sex to West on his birthday, sending unsolicited nude images, and engaging in sexually suggestive behavior during business hours, which they argued contradicted her claims of harassment.
Further details of the settlement agreement were not disclosed. TMZ was the first to report the news of the settlement.
