Kanye West and Kim Kardashian put on a united front to support their daughter, North, at her debut solo concert in Chicago on Saturday night. The exes were observed cheering on the 13-year-old performer at her sold-out, one-night engagement at The Vic Theatre, though they were positioned on opposite sides of the VIP balcony, according to fan footage.

North performed tracks from her EP "NOrth4evr," including an unreleased song that sampled her father's "Coldest Winter." West, 49, a Chicago native, was seen enjoying the performance and recording it on his phone, while Kardashian, 45, smiled and pointed towards her daughter on stage. Kardashian shared a video clip from the concert on her Instagram Stories, offering a view of the audience and North performing.

The young artist performed with a pair of backup dancers. A TikTok video captured West leaving the venue amidst a crowd of fans and his security detail.

Both West and Kardashian had other commitments in Chicago. Kardashian visited the SKIMS flagship store in the city's Gold Coast neighborhood. West had performed at Soldier Field stadium on Thursday and Friday alongside guests such as Common, Rick Ross, Travis Scott, and Lupe Fiasco.

Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021, with the proceedings becoming contentious. Their divorce was finalized in November 2022, with an agreement for joint custody, though Kardashian manages the majority of the parenting responsibilities.

North has previously shown musical aspirations, making a stage appearance rapping during a Yeezy fashion show in Paris at age six. In May 2024, she performed live at the Hollywood Bowl, and in April of the same year, she performed two collaborative songs with her father during his concert at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium. She also made her music festival debut at Rolling Loud in Orlando, Florida, on May 9, shortly after releasing her EP "NOrth4evr."
