Vice President Kamala Harris is actively campaigning in Michigan with Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed, aiming to unify different factions of the Democratic Party. The campaign of Mike Rogers intends to use an attack ad targeting El-Sayed's association with streamer Hasan Piker, a polarizing figure known for his outspoken criticism of U.S. foreign policy and Israel. Piker's recent comments have drawn backlash, prompting El-Sayed to distance himself and disavow the remarks, emphasizing his commitment to Jewish safety and acknowledging significant disagreements with Piker's past statements.

Despite these potential pitfalls, Democratic efforts to rally around El-Sayed continue. The Senate Majority PAC has committed an additional $10 million to his race, bringing their total investment to $30 million, signaling strong party support for his candidacy following his primary victory over Representative Haley Stevens.
