Nineteen-year-old Kai Trump, granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, has revealed her surprising choice for the song that "defined" her past year: Adele's 2010 hit "Rolling in the Deep."

In a video shared on her YouTube channel and TikTok, Trump admitted she was initially stumped when asked to pick a song. "I really did not know. I couldn't think of a song at all," she said, laughing. "And I'm like, you know what? I just said ‘Rolling in the Deep’ by Adele."

"Rolling in the Deep," from Adele's second studio album "21," was a global phenomenon, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks and earning three Grammy Awards in 2012, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year. The song is widely considered a signature track for the British singer.

This is not the first time Trump has expressed a fondness for the song. In a March Q&A session on her YouTube channel, she listed "Rolling in the Deep" among her favorite songs, alongside "November Rain" by Guns N' Roses and several tracks by The Weeknd, including "House of Balloons," "After Party," and "Wicked Games."

Beyond her musical tastes, Trump also disclosed a new celebrity crush, Theo James. This comes after she previously cited "Outer Banks" star Drew Starkey as her crush in 2024. When asked about the shift, Trump explained, "He's very attractive," referring to James, who is 41.

Trump acknowledged that her grandfather's public profile has complicated her personal life, including her dating experiences. "It's not easy, to be honest with you, but, you know, you gotta live life," she told Fox News Digital. "You gotta just keep on doing normal stuff, you know? At the end of the day, I was in high school, lived a normal high school life, and now I'm going to college. So, just kinda live as normal of a life as possible."

The oldest child of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, Kai Trump is preparing to begin her freshman year at the University of Miami. She will also be joining the Hurricanes women's golf team for the 2026-27 season. Trump frequently plays golf with her grandfather.
