Kai Trump, daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, has offered her YouTube subscribers a glimpse into her new apartment at the University of Miami. The 18-year-old freshman shared the tour, noting her excitement about living independently.
"I'm very, very lucky to have this obviously as a freshman," Trump said in the video, calling her residence "pretty cool." She highlighted the kitchen as her "favorite part" due to her frequent eating habits. The apartment features framed photos, including one of gondolas in Aspen, reflecting her love for skiing, and a New York City skyline shot in the living room. A fireplace in the living area was also pointed out as a particularly appealing feature.
The tour also included a guest bathroom, a dedicated office space for homework, and a bedroom with a walk-in closet and an attached bathroom. Among the displayed items were framed pictures, including one of her grandfather, President Donald Trump, alongside a golf cart.
Trump described the experience of living alone as "crazy" but mentioned that she has made several trips back to Jupiter, Florida, to access her golf equipment and coaches. She indicated that her focus at the University of Miami is primarily on golf, stating, "I’m here for golf, I’m not here to party in Miami."
She also shared some of her recent health challenges, including contracting strep throat and a sinus infection, followed by a suspected case of food poisoning. In a previous YouTube video documenting her move to Miami, Trump became emotional, expressing sadness about leaving her family.
Kai Trump committed to the University of Miami in August 2024. Her transition to college life, particularly as a student-athlete, has been demanding, leaving her with limited time to explore the city.
