Kacey Musgraves' Tour Bus Aids Driver in Arizona Rollover Accident
The singer-songwriter's bus stopped to assist a man whose pickup truck overturned on a highway.
Kacey Musgraves' tour bus pulled over to assist a driver involved in a rollover traffic accident on a highway in Arizona on Friday.
The incident occurred around noon when the bus, en route to a concert in Phoenix, stopped after witnessing a pickup truck overturn.
Musgraves herself was not on the bus at the time of the accident. The driver of the tour bus, a former firefighter, remained with the man until emergency services arrived. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver's wife was following in another vehicle and saw the rollover occur.
The driver of the pickup truck was alert and responsive following the accident and was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The bus driver reportedly helped extricate the individual from the overturned vehicle.
The tour bus's intervention comes as Musgraves continues her Middle of Nowhere Tour across North America. The tour, in support of her seventh studio album, has seen some cancellations earlier in its run, including dates in Chicago, Boston, and Brooklyn. Musgraves is scheduled to perform in Phoenix on Saturday night, followed by shows in Los Angeles and Oakland before concluding the North American leg in Seattle in late October. She is set to travel to Australia in January 2027 and begin a United Kingdom leg of her tour in February 2027.
