Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Celebrate 14th Anniversary Amidst Past Legal Troubles
The couple marked their milestone with social media tributes, recalling their enduring relationship nearly two years after Timberlake's DWI arrest.
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel recently celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary, with both sharing personal tributes on social media.
Timberlake, 45, posted a photo of him and Biel, 44, holding hands during an overseas outing, captioning it with a simple "Happy anniversary ❤️." He also shared a picture of Biel wearing a face mask, affectionately calling her "my favorite person in every lifetime."
Biel took to Instagram Stories to post a photo of Timberlake skiing with their sons, Silas, 11, and Phineas, 6, referring to him as "the best dad." She also shared an image of herself kissing Timberlake's cheek at a red carpet event, with the caption "I love you ❤️."
The anniversary comes more than two years after Timberlake's June 2024 arrest in Sag Harbor, New York, for driving while intoxicated. Police reported stopping him for running a stop sign and swerving into the wrong lane. During the stop, Timberlake told officers he had consumed "one martini" and was following friends home, also expressing frustration about sobriety tests and feeling treated unfairly.
In September 2024, Timberlake pleaded guilty to impaired driving. The plea agreement resulted in a $500 fine, 25 hours of community service, and a 90-day license suspension. As part of the deal, he also agreed to deliver a public safety announcement about the dangers of drunk driving, which reduced the initial misdemeanor charge to a noncriminal traffic violation.
Timberlake and Biel, who have been together since 2007, experienced an on-and-off relationship before reconciling in November 2011. Timberlake proposed the following month, and they married in Italy in October 2012.
Their relationship has faced public scrutiny in the past, including in 2019 when photos emerged of Timberlake holding hands with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright. Timberlake later issued a public apology to Biel, acknowledging a "strong lapse in judgment" and stating his regret over the situation. He expressed his focus on being a better husband and father.
