Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Celebrate 14th Anniversary Amidst Past DWI Scandal
The couple shared personal tributes on social media, marking over a decade of marriage following Timberlake's 2024 DWI arrest.
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel marked their 14th wedding anniversary on Sunday with public tributes shared across social media. The couple, who have been together since 2007, celebrated their milestone more than two years after Timberlake's June 2024 arrest for driving while intoxicated (DWI) in The Hamptons.
Timberlake, 45, and Biel, 44, each posted personal messages and photos to commemorate the occasion. The singer shared a snapshot of them holding hands during an outing, writing, "14 down. Forever to go," accompanied by a hug emoji. He also posted an image of Biel wearing a face mask, calling her "my favorite person in every lifetime."
Biel also shared her affection, posting a photo of herself kissing Timberlake's cheek at a red carpet event with the caption, "I love you ♥️." She also shared a photo on Instagram Stories showing Timberlake skiing with their two sons, Silas, 11, and Phineas, six, calling him "the best dad."
Timberlake's 2024 DWI arrest occurred in Sag Harbor, New York, after police observed him driving through a stop sign and swerving into the wrong lane. During the stop, Timberlake reportedly told officers he had consumed "one martini" and had been following friends home. He later pleaded guilty in September 2024 to impaired driving. As part of his plea deal, Timberlake was fined $500, sentenced to 25 hours of community service, and had his driver's license suspended for 90 days. The initial misdemeanor charge was reduced to a noncriminal traffic violation, and he also agreed to provide a public safety announcement about the dangers of drunk driving.
The couple's relationship has navigated public scrutiny in the past. In 2019, photos emerged of Timberlake holding hands with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright. Timberlake subsequently issued a public apology to Biel and their family, stating it was "a strong lapse in judgement" and that he regretted his behavior.
Timberlake and Biel began dating in 2007, experiencing an on-and-off relationship before reconciling in November 2011. They became engaged in December 2011 and married in Italy in October 2012. Timberlake has previously described finding Biel as a life-altering experience, comparing it to a "baptism" where there's "no going back."
