Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has appeared in a new commercial for Buffalo Wild Wings, showcasing a different side of his public persona. In the ad, Herbert dons a Y2K-inspired costume and performs Vanessa Carlton's 2002 hit song "A Thousand Miles" alongside the restaurant's mascot.
The commercial, which Herbert shared on his Instagram page, promotes Buffalo Wild Wings' "throwback menu." Initially seen in casual attire, Herbert transitions into a striped polo shirt layered over a long-sleeve shirt, complemented by sunglasses, for his musical performance.
"You have a beautiful voice for a quarterback," the mascot remarks at the conclusion of the ad.
This appearance marks another instance of Herbert sharing more of his personal life since becoming engaged to singer Madison Beer. In a recent interview with "Chargers Weekly," Herbert mentioned that observing Beer perform has encouraged him to be more open about his private life and express himself more readily.
