Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has proposed to pop star Madison Beer, with sources estimating the engagement ring to be worth as much as $1.2 million. The couple announced their engagement Tuesday, approximately one year after their relationship began.
Jewelry experts told Page Six Style that the ring features a prominent elongated cushion-cut diamond solitaire. Logan Hollowell, a jewelry designer, estimated the center stone to be between 10 and 15 carats, potentially valued between $700,000 and $1.2 million. Hollowell noted that the diamond's elongated ratio is rare and provides a "graceful, finger-lengthening effect."
MAdison Beer showed off the ring on social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
"The simplicity makes the ring feel modern while ensuring it will remain timeless," Hollowell added, referring to the solitaire setting. Olivia Landau, founder of The Clear Cut, agreed, stating that the design offers "a modern twist on a very classic timeless look" with a unique compass prong setting.
Other celebrities, such as Taylor Swift, Zoë Kravitz, Selena Gomez, and Lady Gaga, have also been seen wearing elongated diamond engagement rings.
Sources familiar with the couple indicated that the quick engagement was not a surprise, as their relationship was reportedly progressing in that direction. Beer and Herbert coordinated in white for their engagement announcement, with Beer wearing a crochet lace skirt and cardigan, and Herbert sporting a long-sleeved henley.
