Actor Justin Baldoni is set to make his first significant public appearance in the "Dancing with the Stars" ballroom audience for Tuesday night's Super Bowl-themed episode. Baldoni will attend as a special guest of co-host Julianne Hough, who has been a longtime family friend.
Sources close to the production confirmed that Baldoni will be accompanied by his wife, Emily, and their two children. His friendship with Hough dates back to 2016 when they worked together on the set of "My Last Days," with Baldoni directing the show.
Earlier this year, Baldoni and his family spent time in Los Angeles celebrating his son Maxwell's birthday at Universal Studios. He has also recently been involved in other projects, including reuniting with his "Jane the Virgin" co-star Gina Rodriguez on the set of her directorial debut, "House of Guerrero," where he is producing alongside his company, Wayfarer Studios.
Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios were previously involved in a legal dispute with actress Blake Lively, who filed a lawsuit in December 2024 alleging sexual harassment and a smear campaign on the set of their film "It Ends With Us." Baldoni and Wayfarer denied the allegations and countersued for defamation and extortion. The case was settled out of court in May 2026, with Baldoni agreeing to pay a portion of Lively's legal fees.
