Julianne Moore Celebrates Son Caleb's Wedding to Kibriyaá Morgan
The Oscar-winning actress shared joyful moments from the ceremony as her son married his long-term girlfriend.
Julianne Moore embraced the role of proud mother of the groom this past weekend as her son, Caleb Freundlich, married his long-term girlfriend, Kibriyaá Morgan. The actress shared her joy on Instagram, posting a video of the couple walking down the aisle with the caption, "This happened!!! We love love love you." Moore and her husband, filmmaker Bart Freundlich, are also parents to daughter Liv Helen Freundlich. Caleb and Kibriyaá became engaged in August 2024 after nine years together.
The wedding featured several personal touches. Kibriyaá wore an elegant strapless gown with a full skirt for the ceremony and later changed into a second, fitted gown adorned with intricate beading and sequins for the reception. The couple opted for an espresso martini tower instead of a traditional champagne tower, and their four-tier cake was topped with statuettes resembling them. The reception setting was adorned with greenery and flowers.
Moore, who married Bart Freundlich in 2003, has spoken about the importance of family and creating a stable childhood for her children. She met her husband on the set of his 1997 film "The Myth of Fingerprints." Recently, Moore also attended a jewelry event in Paris with her daughter, Liv.
Moore reflected on how motherhood has profoundly impacted her life, stating, "It's made my life bigger, and fuller, and larger." She emphasized the deep emotional growth that comes from raising children and building a life with a partner.
