Actress Julia Garner, known for her role in "Ozark," and Mark Foster, frontman for Foster the People, have reportedly separated after six years of marriage, according to reports. Garner, 32, was recently seen without her wedding ring while filming "Tyrant" in New York.
The couple, who largely kept their relationship private, were last seen together in October at the Vogue World after-party. Sources have confirmed the end of their marriage to People magazine.
Garner and Foster became engaged in April 2019, approximately 10 months after they began dating. Foster, 42, proposed to Garner at Flathead Lake. She recalled the moment to Vogue, stating he read her a poem he had written before proposing.
They married in New York City in December of the same year. Their wedding celebration with friends and family took place at Locanda Verde, followed by a reception at The Public Hotel where Foster performed a new song titled "Lovers In A Stream" for Garner.
Garner is widely recognized for her role as Ruth Langmore in the Netflix crime drama "Ozark" and for her portrayal of Anna Delvey in "Inventing Anna." Foster is known for his work as the singer and keyboardist for the band Foster the People.
Garner recently received a Critics Choice Super Award nomination for Best Actress in a Superhero Movie for her role in "The Fantastic Four: First Step." In past interviews, Garner has spoken about nearly quitting acting before her success in "Ozark." She described a challenging period at age 21 when she struggled to find work, which led her to consider other career paths if her acting career did not progress within five years. Ultimately, she persevered, attributing her continued success to hard work and a lack of entitlement.
