JPMorgan Executive Accused of Sexual Coercion Renews Countersuit

A JPMorgan Chase executive accused by a former banker of forcing him into sexual servitude has renewed her countersuit, asserting that the lurid allegations were fabricated to extort millions from her and the financial institution.

Lorna Hajdini, an executive director at JPMorgan, stated in a Manhattan federal court filing on Monday that Chirayu Rana orchestrated a "deliberate and sustained scheme" to falsely portray her as a racist sexual predator and criminal.

Rana had previously accused Hajdini of coercing him into sexual acts and demanding his submission as a condition for career advancement. His claims included allegations of sexual assault, forced oral sex, unwanted genital touching, and threats of professional ruin if he resisted her advances.

"Plaintiff’s accusations are false," Hajdini stated in her filing, seeking unspecified damages for defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and other claims. She contends that Rana's accusations have caused her severe anxiety, panic, and fear, leading her to withdraw from personal relationships.

Jon Norinsberg, Rana's lawyer, has stated that his client "categorically" rejects Hajdini’s claims and intends to defend himself vigorously against the counterclaims.

JPMorgan Chase also issued a denial of Rana’s most explosive claims on Monday night.
