A former JPMorgan Chase executive has been fired and fined after being caught taking a trash can from a New York Knicks championship parade route.

The executive, who has not been publicly identified, was issued two summonses by New York City sanitation police for the alleged theft. The incident occurred during the parade celebrating the Knicks' recent success.

Following the incident, the executive was terminated from their position at JPMorgan Chase. Reports indicate the individual made a return trip to the parade route, described as a "walk of shame."
