Joy Behar Returns to 'The View' After Shoulder Injury

Joy Behar, 84, returned to "The View" on Tuesday, leaning on co-host Sara Haines for support weeks after sustaining a shoulder injury. Behar, who had been absent from the show for nearly a month, was greeted with a prolonged standing ovation from the audience upon her arrival.

Behar explained the severity of her injury, describing it as a "very bad fall" that resulted in a dislocated shoulder. She humorously compared the pain to childbirth and joked that she would have revealed sensitive information to the CIA under duress. She also quipped that even a doctor examining her did not look at her "ass like that, with such love and affection" as President Donald Trump reportedly did when complimenting Nicki Minaj's physique.

Her co-hosts, including Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Sunny Hostin, expressed their relief and joy at her return. Goldberg remarked on how the absence of one member is felt by the entire cast, while Haines likened the hosts to a family that navigates life's challenges together. Behar acknowledged the unexpected nature of her injury, stating, "Things happen, you can’t help it. I couldn’t help that I went down."
