Joy Behar Invites Trump Back to 'The View,' Calls Him 'Not Long for This World'
The longtime critic of the former president suggested Trump seems ill and would be a welcome guest to 'take the heat.'

“The View” co-host Joy Behar expressed a willingness to have former President Donald Trump return to the show, despite recently stating she believes he is "not long for this world."
“I’d love Donald Trump to take the heat,” Behar said in an interview with New York Magazine. She added, “You know Trump is not long for this world. He seems ill. He does not seem like he’s well.”
A White House spokesperson responded to Behar's remarks about Trump's health, calling her an "extremely unlikeable, talentless hack with a poorly rated TV show who clearly suffers from a severe and incurable disease known as Trump Derangement Syndrome."
This is not the first time Behar has questioned Trump's health. Last month, she argued that the media does not scrutinize Trump's health to the same degree it scrutinized President Joe Biden's.
Behar and Trump have a history predating his presidency. Trump made more than a dozen appearances on “The View” before entering politics. Behar also attended Trump's 1993 wedding to Marla Maples.
Behar noted that Trump's humor has changed since she knew him as a New York celebrity. "I knew him when he was just an annoying New York figure," she said. "Back then, he had a sense of humor that was not as bizarre as it is now. Now his sense of humor is making fun of handicapped people."
She recalled a past interaction where she compared Trump to Woody Allen after he made a comment about dating his daughter Ivanka. Behar stated that Trump found the comparison humorous.
Behar has previously described Trump as "much more dangerous" than during his first term and advocated for invoking the 25th Amendment against him, asserting that he is "destroying the United States of America."
