Journalist Details Threats Amidst Manchester City Investigation

Investigative journalist Nick Harris has detailed what he describes as years of threats, intimidation, and "ugly tactics" employed against him and his family while he reported on alleged financial misconduct by Manchester City.

Harris, writing for the Daily Mail, stated that the alleged campaign intensified around 2020, a period marked by personal tragedy. He recounts receiving a phone call while sitting with his wife, Helen, who was terminally ill with brain cancer, informing him that his home address had been posted on Twitter by a Manchester City fan, accompanied by threats.

He claims that the club's leadership and its supporters engaged in these actions believing they could evade scrutiny for their alleged transgressions. Harris's reporting has focused on what he terms Manchester City's "cheating" and their "plutocratic regime."
