Social media activity has ignited rumors that model Josie Canseco and Atlanta Braves pitcher AJ Smith-Shawver have ended their relationship. Fans noticed that Canseco removed all photos of Smith-Shawver from her Instagram account and unfollowed him on the platform.
Further fueling speculation, Smith-Shawver also appeared to have deleted photos of Canseco from his own Instagram page, although he still follows her. The couple's social media activity comes shortly after they celebrated their one-year anniversary in 2025 with a public display of affection on Instagram, where Canseco shared a carousel of photos and captioned it, "A year with you. How’d I get so lucky."
Smith-Shawver's mother commented on the anniversary post, expressing her well wishes. However, that post has since been removed.
Canseco, 29, has previously been linked to Johnny Manziel, Logan Paul, and Brody Jenner. Smith-Shawver, 23, recently returned to the mound for the Braves on August 19, 2026, for his second start of the season after undergoing Tommy John surgery. Canseco made no public acknowledgment of his pitching outing.
