Model Josie Canseco has expressed her grief following the death of Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. Gerber died over the weekend at a rehabilitation facility.
Canseco shared a photograph of Gerber on her Instagram Stories late Sunday, accompanied by a heartfelt message. "Love you Pres," she wrote. "Doesn’t feel real.. you deserved better than this, I’m so sorry it all got to this point.. we’ll miss you forever."
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office confirmed Gerber's death, stating that the Santa Monica Police Department is investigating. While a definitive cause of death has not yet been released, sources close to the family suspect an overdose, according to TMZ.
Josie Canseco and Presley Gerber shared a connection through the modeling industry. Their bond also deepened due to Canseco's friend, Charlotte D’Alessio, having dated Gerber in the late 2010s.
The Gerber-Crawford family released a statement requesting privacy during this "very difficult and painful time."
