Jordyn Woods has responded to social media users who questioned Jaden Smith's attendance and involvement at her recent wedding to Karl-Anthony Towns. Critics had raised concerns about why Smith was present with the bridesmaids and assisting the groom.

Woods, 28, took to TikTok to share a montage of her and Smith's shared memories, spanning from their childhood to the present day. She addressed the comments directly in the video, stating, "'Why is Jaden with all of the girls? And at the bridal shower? And helping Karl with his shoes?'"

"Because he’s never missed an important moment in my life," Woods explained in the video. She expressed gratitude in the caption for having "the epitome of a day ONE" friend, adding, "From diapers to marriage. I can’t wait for his wedding one day but until then 🤣!!!"

Woods highlighted Smith's consistent presence throughout her life, noting, "He’s never missed a birthday, showing up at my dads funeral and making us all laugh, to now getting married. I’m so lucky I’ve never had to know a life without our friendship."

Although Smith was not officially part of Woods' bridal party, he was pictured with the bridesmaids and the bride at the ceremony and attended the bridal shower. Smith, also 28, also contributed to the wedding by designing custom Christian Louboutin shoes for Towns. He shared on Instagram that he created a pair of size 20 red-soled Louboutins for the New York Knicks player to wear on his wedding day.

Woods and Smith have maintained a close friendship since early childhood. Woods' late father, John Woods, worked in television and had connections to Smith's father, Will Smith.
