Jordon Hudson Dons Pink Ensemble for UNC Football Game Amidst Program Investigation
Girlfriend of North Carolina coach Bill Belichick appears in a 'Mean Girls'-themed outfit during team's loss to Notre Dame.
Jordon Hudson, girlfriend of North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick, was present on the sidelines during the Tar Heels' 37-26 loss to Notre Dame on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026. Hudson wore a pink, "Mean Girls"-inspired two-piece outfit, a nod to the film's famous October 3rd reference.
Hudson's ensemble included a corset-like top and matching pink pants, accessorized with a championship ring and a football-shaped purse. She was also seen interacting with the UNC mascot, Rameses.
The appearance comes as the North Carolina football program has been under investigation regarding its culture and climate. The probe led to the resignation of Bill Belichick's son, Steve Belichick, who was serving as the team's defensive coordinator. Steve Belichick's departure is effective October 27, following a medical leave.
University officials stated that an independent investigation concluded that "certain actions demonstrated a disregard for Carolina’s values and standards of conduct." The findings were described as "isolated in scope and not a systemic failure," though specific details were not disclosed.
This development follows the earlier resignation of Mike Lombardi, the team's general manager, who was also reportedly part of the investigation following a complaint from a former employee.
On the field, North Carolina held an early 7-0 lead against Notre Dame but ultimately fell to the Fighting Irish, who scored five touchdowns and two field goals. The Tar Heels now hold a 2-2 record for the season and are scheduled to play Pittsburgh next week.
