Comedian Jon Stewart believes former President Donald Trump's sense of happiness is primarily driven by vengeance and a constant need for public attention. Stewart shared his perspective on the latest episode of his podcast, "Weekly Show."

When asked if Trump appears happy, Stewart initially expressed surprise at the question. He then described the former president as a "poor, poor little billionaire president" whose core motivation is "vengeance."

Stewart elaborated on this idea, suggesting that Trump thrives in an environment fueled by animosity. "I think he is happy that his body is a bile production facility," Stewart said. "Whereas you and I live aerobically, he lives anaerobically and therefore is happy in his oxygen-less world."

Stewart's comments came as he discussed recent events that some observers noted as potentially disappointing for Trump, including a Fourth of July weekend marred by weather delays and sparsely attended events. However, Stewart posited that Trump likely interprets such moments through a lens of self-aggrandizement.

"He is the original algorithm, he drives us to his embrace and we all revolve — he is the sun and we are but the stars," Stewart quipped, explaining that Trump's happiness is contingent on being the center of focus. "He is the sun and we are but the stars."
