JoJo Fletcher Shares Secrets to Long-Lasting Relationship After 10 Years With Jordan Rodgers

More than a decade after handing out her final rose on The Bachelorette, JoJo Fletcher is sharing insights into how she and Jordan Rodgers have maintained their relationship. The couple, who met on the reality show in 2016, recently welcomed their first child, a daughter named Romy, who was born just before Christmas last year. Fletcher told The Daily Mail that a key element to their lasting romance is choosing a partner who is also a best friend.

Fletcher emphasized that while attraction and chemistry are vital, finding a "safe space" in a partner is paramount. She advises seeking someone "solid" who understands you and with whom you enjoy spending time, even during mundane activities. Despite the unique circumstances of their beginning, Fletcher noted that she and Rodgers have grown significantly together through various life stages and continue to enjoy doing everyday things together, such as grocery shopping.

Jordan Rodgers, the younger brother of NFL star Aaron Rodgers, proposed to Fletcher in August 2016. The couple faced a delay in their wedding plans, postponing their nuptials twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, before eventually marrying in Santa Ynez, California, in 2022. They also undertook a significant home renovation project in Puerto Rico after relocating to the island.

The arrival of their daughter Romy has further deepened Fletcher's love for Rodgers. She explained that sharing new experiences as parents has created an additional bond between them. This year marks the family's first full holiday season with Romy, and Fletcher expressed excitement about experiencing holidays like Halloween through her daughter's eyes. She anticipates enjoying local Halloween decorations with Romy via a golf cart ride around their neighborhood.

Family time is also centered around football season, given Rodgers' role as a college football analyst for ESPN and ABC. Fletcher described football Sundays as a cherished "family time," often involving multiple televisions to accommodate various games. While she has a soft spot for the Dallas Cowboys, her primary focus is on the shared experience of cozying up and watching games together as a family.

Fletcher has also partnered with Mucinex to promote their Cold & Fever Multi-Symptom product, a collaboration she described as an organic fit, especially with a young child at home and increased travel for Rodgers. She shared that she prepares a medicine kit for him, ensuring he has necessary supplies while on the road.

The couple announced Romy's arrival last year, noting it followed an emergency C-section. Romy was referred to as their "rainbow baby," a term for a child born after a miscarriage, and the announcement received widespread support from Bachelor Nation. Fletcher marked her first Mother's Day as a mom in May, expressing profound gratitude for her role.
