Due to overwhelming demand, the Grammy winner has added three more shows to his 2027 residency at the immersive venue.
John Mayer has extended his 2027 residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, adding three additional shows due to high demand. The seven-time Grammy winner will now perform 21 concerts at the venue, running from April 8 through June 12, 2027.
Initially scheduled for six performances, Mayer's residency has been expanded to encompass what the venue describes as a "unique, unforgettable celebration" combining immersive sound, visual spectacle, and sensory feedback.
Tickets for the newly added dates officially go on sale on Friday, October 16, at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster. Tickets for the initial 18 shows are already available on resale platforms such as Vivid Seats, StubHub, and SeatGeek.
Mayer's performances are expected to feature a three-part structure, including a solo segment, performances with his full band, and sets with The John Mayer Trio. The artist expressed his excitement on Instagram, stating, "It’s never lost on me that I get to work with the most talented people to make beautiful things for a living. I can’t wait for you to see and hear what I’m dreaming up."
Based on a recent performance at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, Mayer's setlists have included songs like "Gravity," "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room," "New Light," "If I Ever Get Around to Living," and "Your Body Is a Wonderland." He has also performed covers of songs such as a-ha's "Take On Me," Harry Styles' "As It Was," and Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'."
Beyond Mayer's residency, the Sphere is hosting a variety of other artists and events, including "The Wizard of Oz," Metallica, Eagles, Backstreet Boys, Oprah's 'Aha' experience, and Carín León through 2027.
