John Mayer Extends 2027 Las Vegas Sphere Residency to 18 Shows

John Mayer has announced an extension of his 2027 residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, expanding the initial six shows to a total of 18 performances. The extended run is scheduled to take place from April through June 2027.

Mayer, a seven-time Grammy Award winner and frontman for Dead & Company, will present his solo show at the venue. The residency will feature three distinct segments: a solo performance, a set with a full band, and a portion with The John Mayer Trio.

The artist expressed his enthusiasm for the extended engagement via Instagram, stating, "Announcing this Sphere Vegas run has been one of the best moments of my year so far. It makes real something I’ve been working on for several months, and the excitement around the reveal inspires me to go even deeper into creating this show over the months to come…I can’t wait for you to see and hear what I’m dreaming up."

While specific setlists have not been released, Mayer is expected to perform his well-known hits such as "Your Body Is a Wonderland," "Daughters," "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room," "New Light," and "Gravity."

Tickets for the general public will go on sale Friday, October 9, at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster. Pre-sale tickets are available on secondary market sites, including Vivid Seats.

In addition to the Las Vegas residency, Mayer has one North American tour date scheduled for October 9 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Mayer's last known headlining performance, according to Setlist FM, was at Bahrain’s Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre on February 13, where he performed a setlist that included acoustic and piano segments, concluding with an encore of "Gravity."
