John Mayer Announces 2027 Las Vegas Sphere Residency
The Grammy winner will perform six solo shows, with a full band and trio, in April 2027.
John Mayer is set to return to Las Vegas for a six-show residency at the Sphere in April 2027.
The announcement follows Mayer's 48-show stint with Dead & Company at the Sphere from 2024 to 2025.
The newly announced dates are:
- Thursday, April 8, 2027, at 8 p.m.
- Saturday, April 10, 2027, at 8 p.m.
- Sunday, April 11, 2027, at 8 p.m.
- Thursday, April 15, 2027, at 8 p.m.
- Saturday, April 17, 2027, at 8 p.m.
- Sunday, April 18, 2027, at 8 p.m.
Mayer, 48, shared on Instagram, "Meet me where the light is. I’ll be playing six nights at Sphere – solo, full band and trio [with Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino]." According to a press release, the performances will feature immersive sound and visual spectacle.
Prior to his Las Vegas residency, Mayer has two East Coast performances scheduled. He is set to appear at Buddy Guy’s 90th birthday celebration at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Thursday, Oct. 1, alongside Eric Clapton, Jon Batiste, and Billy Gibbons. He is also scheduled to headline Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, on Friday, Oct. 9.
Tickets for the Sphere concerts will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster. Tickets are currently available on secondary market sites such as Vivid Seats.
Other notable artists scheduled to perform at the Sphere include "The Wizard of Oz" (ongoing), Metallica (through March 2027), the Eagles (through January 2027), Backstreet Boys (late December 2026/early January 2027), Oprah Winfrey’s ‘Aha’ (April 2-4, 2027), and Carín León (September 15-18, 2027).
