John Lewis Tote Bag Returns for Autumn with a Discount

The John Lewis Intentional Tote Bag, a highly sought-after accessory that sold out within three weeks of its spring/summer 2026 debut, has returned for the autumn season. The oversized leather bag, praised for its ability to accommodate essentials like laptops and water bottles, is now available with a 20% discount.
The tote features a slouchy silhouette designed to lend an effortless chic to everyday outfits. For the autumn/winter 2026 collection, the original design has been updated with a ribbed gold clasp and structural panelling. A new chocolate colorway has also been introduced, offering a seasonal alternative to the classic black.
In addition to the maxi tote, John Lewis has also released a mini shoulder bag in suede, available in dark stone and hunting green. The dark stone version has seen a significant increase in sales, indicating continued interest in the collection.
The current promotion offers a 20% discount on selected seasonal handbag styles until October 19. This brings the price of the maxi leather tote down from £149 to £119.20. The retailer noted that it earns commission on purchases made via links on its site.
