Actor John Glover, known for his portrayals of complex antagonists, was recently seen in Los Angeles with his husband, Adam Kurtzman. The couple, who have been together since 1993 and married in 2016, were photographed during a leisurely outing in the city.

Glover, 82, is recognized for a range of television and film roles, including Lionel Luthor in the series 'Smallville,' Sylar's father in 'Heroes,' the Floronic Man in 'Batman & Robin,' and Daniel Clamp in 'Gremlins 2: The New Batch.' He also voiced the Riddler in 'The Batman' animated series.

The actor and his husband were observed walking hand-in-hand and later dining at Little Beast, a restaurant in Eagle Rock. Glover, dressed casually in a blue button-down shirt and jeans, appeared relaxed during the outing.

Glover's career began in the 1970s, spanning theater, television, and film. He has received Emmy Award nominations for his television work and a Tony Award nomination for his role in 'Waiting for Godot.' He once described his frequent casting as villains by saying, 'Villains are some of the best roles. I think it's because they move the action of the plot along. They're either neurotic or psychotic — and that's always fun to play.'

Beyond his acting career, Glover is also a dedicated knitter. He has practiced the craft since the 1960s, finding it to be a form of stress relief and meditation. He has described the activity as helping him to 'stop being so angry' and to 'keep my mind fresh.'

Glover, who lists his professions on Instagram as 'actor and husband,' recently celebrated his 33rd anniversary with Kurtzman.
