John Daly and Topgolf Forge New Partnership, Cementing Masters Week Tradition

Golfer John Daly has expanded his relationship with Topgolf through a new multi-year partnership, continuing a Masters week tradition that was left in limbo following the bankruptcy of Hooters. Daly, a two-time major champion, will make appearances at the Augusta Topgolf location in 2027 and 2028, with further details to be announced.

This new agreement follows Daly's appearance at Topgolf in downtown Augusta during this past April's Masters week, alongside a meet-and-greet at Top Dawg Tavern. For years, Daly's traditional Masters week autograph signings and merchandise sales took place at the Augusta Hooters. However, the restaurant's parent company filed for bankruptcy in 2025, leading to the demolition of that location and leaving Daly without a venue.

The expanded partnership with Topgolf also includes the return of "Topgolf Nights," set to begin on October 22. Additionally, John Daly merchandise and two ready-to-drink cocktails bearing his name will be available at 55 Topgolf locations nationwide.

“I love the vibe at Topgolf,” Daly stated in a press release. “It’s a place where you can smash a golf ball, listen to music, have a drink and enjoy yourself with friends and family. That’s my kind of golf.”

Topgolf CEO David McKillips commented on the partnership, saying, “John Daly is a one-of-a-kind icon who completely disrupted this sport by refusing to be anyone but himself. At Topgolf, we pride ourselves on breaking down barriers so anyone can play, which is exactly what makes this partnership so natural and exciting. John brings the fun, and fun is what Topgolf is all about.”

Daly is also slated to make appearances at various Topgolf events across the country as part of the agreement.
