Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe," has advised former President Donald Trump to stop watching his show, responding to a critical post Trump made on Truth Social.

During Monday’s broadcast, co-host Jonathan Lemire read Trump's statement, which described "Morning Joe" as "too predictable and boring" with "REALLY BAD RATINGS." Trump also referred to the network as "MSNOW (MSDNC!)."

Scarborough responded directly to the former president's remarks, stating, "You don’t have to watch.“ He added, “I specifically said: ‘Please Mr. President, don’t watch our show.’ It’s not good for you, and it’s not good for America."

Scarborough suggested Trump "watch channels where they say shit that you like." He also noted that the program has been described as the number one cable morning program in Washington, D.C.

Lemire also reported on conversations with Republican lawmakers who expressed fear of a significant loss in the upcoming midterm elections, with some feeling that Trump's actions have been detrimental to their chances. This exchange occurred shortly after Trump attempted to ban CNN, MSNBC, and Politico from the White House. A federal judge later issued a temporary order restoring access for these outlets, deeming the ban likely unconstitutional.
