Froggatt noted that while her profession offers periods of downtime and the possibility of bringing her child to work, the reality of extensive travel often means being away from home. She emphasized that the juggle is a universal challenge for working parents, regardless of their profession or support systems.
Beyond the practicalities of parenting, Froggatt expressed significant concerns about the societal pressures placed on women, particularly mothers, regarding their appearance. "Men are judged on their talents, on their skills, on their achievements, their intelligence, their humour. And we're still judging women on the way they look," Froggatt stated. She lamented what she sees as a regression in societal attitudes, moving away from celebrating women's accomplishments and back towards an excessive focus on physical appearance.
The actress also touched upon the impact of digital media and artificial intelligence, noting the difference between curated online images and the reality of individuals. She advocated for a return to appreciating "real faces" and acknowledging that aging brings confidence, experience, and wisdom.
