Actress Joan Collins, 93, recently met with her friend Elizabeth Hurley, 61, for lunch at Club 55 in St. Tropez. Collins, known for her roles in "Dynasty" and "The Royals," appeared in good spirits, dressed in a blue and white dress and a wide-brimmed hat.
Hurley was accompanied by her son, Damian Hurley, 24, and her boyfriend, Billy Ray Cyrus, 64. Collins shared a video on Instagram from the gathering, humorously stating, "Here I am, with all my friends and we're all spending her money. So happy, whatever day it is. Thursday or Friday, Saturday." Hurley responded affectionately, calling Collins "mummy dearest," to which Collins quipped, "Forget the mummy."
Collins has owned a villa in St. Tropez for approximately three decades, spending several months there each summer. She has previously discussed her approach to maintaining her appearance and health over the years.
Health and Lifestyle
Collins has attributed her youthful appearance to lifestyle choices rather than cosmetic procedures. She has stated that as she has aged, she has learned to "eat less," consuming significantly less food than she did in her younger years. For instance, she noted that she now eats half the amount she did at age 25, and anticipates eating half again that amount by age 75.
Collins has expressed a desire to live to be 100 and emphasizes the importance of skincare. She has also advised against dieting, instead recommending eating smaller portions. For rapid weight loss, she has suggested a temporary diet of "broccoli and boiled eggs."
Regarding exercise, Collins recalled being very active in her youth, engaging in dancing for extended periods. In later years, she incorporated gym workouts and Pilates into her routine. However, she has noted that as one gets older, the body cannot withstand the same level of physical stress. A recent experience with a trapped nerve, which left her incapacitated for two months, has also influenced her approach to physical activity.
Collins and Hurley have maintained a close friendship for decades, having previously portrayed mother and daughter in the E! drama series "The Royals."
