Jimmy Fallon dedicated a segment of "The Tonight Show" to satirizing White House aide Natalie Harp, drawing on recent media reports that have highlighted her close working relationship with former President Donald Trump. The sketch, aired Thursday, featured a fictionalized interview with an actress portraying Harp.

Fallon introduced the segment after a brief monologue that touched on Trump's personal life, health, and foreign policy. He then pivoted to the fabricated interview, referencing a Washington Post report that identified Harp as one of the few individuals permitted on a secret flight with Trump. The report emerged amid concerns about an Iranian assassination threat.

A subsequent CNN report, also cited by Fallon, detailed an instance where Harp allegedly rode in the trunk of a car to accompany Trump on a trip from Washington D.C. to a Manhattan courthouse when she was told there was no room in his motorcade. The sketch depicted the actress playing Harp defensively producing car maintenance tools like a tire pressure gauge and a car jack as proof she wasn't in a trunk, even going as far as to present antifreeze as a bottle of water.

Fallon questioned Harp's alleged obsession with remaining close to Trump. The fictional Harp retorted with exaggerated scenarios, including hiding under Trump's bed and whispering poetry, as a way to deflect the accusations and suggest the characterization was unfair. The sketch also referenced reports of Harp's reputation as a "human printer," alluding to her tendency to carry a portable printer for Trump to review documents.

The segment concluded with the actress portraying Harp presenting printed love letters to Trump, further playing on the perception of their close professional relationship. The sketch touched upon comments made by Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff, who mentioned Trump's travel with Harp on what Ossoff described as an "apparently defenseless flying palace." Harp, who was hired as Trump's executive assistant in 2022, has been the subject of media attention for approximately a week. Her brother, Preston Harp, told CNN that his sister may have an "unhealthy obsession" with the former president. Previous "Tonight Show" sketches have also targeted Trump, including one on August 11 that depicted him hiding in a catering cart before boarding a plane with Harp.
