Jimmy Failla Reflects on Fox News Journey Ahead of 30th Anniversary

Jimmy Failla, host of "Fox News Saturday Night," is reflecting on his career at Fox News as the network approaches its 30th anniversary. Failla, who began his career as a New York City taxi driver, recalled the energy he felt upon first entering the Fox News building and how the experience has evolved into "the ride of my life."

Failla's initial appearance on Fox News was a hurried affair, requiring him to double-park his taxi on Sixth Avenue to squeeze in the appearance. He noted that despite the network's milestone anniversary, it maintains a youthful vibrancy, attributing this in part to the makeup department.

He described the atmosphere at Fox News headquarters, known internally as "1211," as fostering a strong sense of community. "Everybody knows EVERYBODY," Failla stated, comparing the daily interactions to spending time with friends. He emphasized that this collegial environment, characterized by laughter during commercial breaks and conversations about family life, extends to the on-air personalities, making viewers feel a personal connection.

"In every sense of the word, Fox News is a family, on-air and off, which is why we have so many families watching us at home," Failla commented. He also highlighted the importance of the behind-the-scenes staff, comparing their role to an offensive line protecting a quarterback, essential for the success of on-air talent.

Failla is the host of "Fox News Saturday Night" and the nationally syndicated talk show "FOX Across America," which airs weekdays from noon to 3 p.m. ET. He is also the author of the New York Times bestselling book "Cancel Culture Dictionary." The comedian and host expressed his gratitude for his time at Fox News, concluding with well wishes for the network's 30th anniversary.
